Mike Sankewitsch, currently living in NC and a member of the Greater Greensboro MCLD 260.
I participated in the postal matches in 2009 and 2010, then life got involved and I had to leave it behind. I am looking forward to shooting in the postal matches again. I don't have time and real desire for the type of competition the MCLST promotes and participates in, but love reading about exploits and ideas.
I’m George Cater, retired MSgt, active duty 1969-1993, Distinguished Pistol in 1978 at Perry, MTU 1978-81 plus summer teams. Currently in Indianapolis. From tonight’s meeting, I see pistol shoo is somewhat in the minority, but nevertheless I expect things to grow. Glad and honored to be here.
Hello, fellow teammates, I am Marine Gunner Saul Cardenas. I am currently stationed at MCRD Parris Island. I recently joined the team while at Nationals. I hope to continue in assisting in growing the team and look for sponsors. It was awesome meeting a good group of people who have served our country and are like minded.
Greg Ficklin from South Carolina. Many of you may know me as the volunteer hut manager at the CMP Eastern Games. I love the idea of the MCL Marksmanship Detachment. I hope to connect with as many Marines as I can to bring more Marines into the HP service rifle/pistol community through the MCL, our common experience, and desire to compete on a national level.
Hello everyone. I’m Andrew. Retired in 2013. Shot inter service back in the late 90’s. Then between special duty assignments and Iraq and Afghanistan I got out of competitive shooting. In 2009 I was injured and have a reconstructed left hip. I have been working on getting back into the swing of things over the last year or so. I am looking forward to Perry and finally meeting some of you there. S/F
